We recently had Andover Buffets cater for our small Wedding. All I can say is that they are absolutely fantastic!

We found them reasonably priced, communication was very good and the food was absolutely amazing.

They catered for 20 people, and there was more than enough for everybody. In fact, a number of people took home doggy bags as they loved what was on offer.

The biggest compliment came from my new Father in Law, saying it was the best buffet he had ever seen. Can’t top a compliment like that! Would highly recommend to anybody, we will certainly use them again.

Jane, the food was amazing! The sausage rolls and cheese went down a storm, nothing left..! The wraps tasted amazing and we had a lot of compliments. Good choices on the menu front. Today was the first time that I have used Andover Buffets but I’m certain that it will not be the last.

Jane came to our rescue at pretty short notice and delivered a delicious buffet for my mother in law’s funeral. It’s tricky when you’re feeling sad, you don’t really want to think about what should be in sandwiches etc but Jane clearly understands this and quickly came up with some lovely suggestions.

The food tasted and looked delicious and there was plenty of it, she also amply catered for one of our party who is unable to eat gluten or dairy products. All of this was delivered for a reasonable fee, and without stress, I really can not recommend Andover Buffets highly enough.

Thank you so very much for a wonderful finger buffet at my father’s funeral last Tuesday. There were so many compliments about your food. The secret recipe sausage rolls were a great success, even to the likes of me, who would normally not choose to eat sausage rolls! They were delicious. As you know, the brownies were a great favourite with my daughter. We also had plenty of leftovers for a substantial evening buffet for 6 of us on our return to Surrey that evening!

My family have used Andover Buffets on two occasions recently. To clarify, not ordered by me, but by my mother Margaret Barbara. On both occasions everything was excellent. The sausage rolls are legendary. Highly recommended.

Where to start…. everything I hoped for and much more!

• Jane – professional, friendly, attentive. Very flexible, though she provides extensive menus that make your mouth water and difficult to chose because it all sounds so amazing, if there is still something you’d like that’s not on there she is very accommodating. Creative has great ideas!!
• Food – it’s like you have died and gone to heaven!! beautifully presented, full of flavour, big portions, colourful, amazing smells, tastebuds were truly spoilt.

I was hosting an event for a private party of 50 and the original caterer had let me down last minute. Jane managed to create a menu closely matching the original and then created 250 incredible Canapés in little to no time. The guests were in ore of them!

Very reasonably priced when considering the quality of the ingredients and the superb food delivered. I’ve used Jane prior to this event and will continue to do so for future events. Thoroughly recommended.

It’s been a really busy few days and this is the first opportunity to sit down and write to say thank you for the lovely food on Saturday. It went down really well with our guests- there was very little left over! My 13 year old niece, who is a very fussy eater, ate loads as well.

Easy planning and great flexibility for event catering for 250 persons. Arrived at planned time, excellent presentation of fresh and tasty selection of food. Obliging and helpful staff serving drinks. Great job cleaning up and removal of all rubbish at end of event. Would certainly use again.

I want to say, a very BIG ‘thank you’ for an amazing spread. So many people complimented the food – and you’re right, there was lots of it.

We had about 80 people, but I think we could’ve easily dialled down the food to 70 people. One vegan friend went off with equivalent of a very generous packed lunch for her daughter – and Chris’ sister and hubby had a picnic for their trip home to Cornwall. Other friends took back armfuls of food for their kids – so it was like handing out party bags!

Seriously though, the food was a step up from any other buffet we’ve ever experienced. And I liked the fact that you and I worked on trust. I will definitely be recommending you again – and should we have another celebration, you’ll be on speed dial.

Jane’s food is very tasty and nice, she is very welcoming and caters for all peoples needs from gluten free to someone who is on a diet, which is very rare to find these days. Please give a Jane’s food a go she is very good.

I do not recommend services or businesses easily, but Andover Buffets is just too good not to sing its praises. I have a real fear of ‘death by beige buffets’ where everything is in bread or pastry, but Jane’s buffets are a glorious sea of colour, taste and texture. Fabulous food, display, approach and service – YUM!

Jane provided a Buffet for 200 people for Pride of Andover Awards at The Lights. She tailored the buffet to our needs, to ensure we catered for vegetarians and anyone with food allergies.

Her presentation and variety of food was excellent. Jane’s relaxed and efficient manner helped the committee to focus on the other tasks for the evening without any worry about the buffet. Her attention to detail made our job organising the event so much easier.

The food was delicious and we received lots of compliments on the buffet provided. We are very happy to highly recommend Jane and I am extremely pleased to hear that she has now become one of the preferred caterers for The Lights. Jane doesn’t work with set menus, we were able to choose which items we wanted from a long list of items; she even included a requested special canapé.

Test Valley Community Services recently used Andover Buffets to provide lunch for 100 at their AGM. Jane delivered the food on time, it was delicious, varied and well presented. We received many compliments about the standard & quality of the lunch and will look forward to using Jane & AB’s again in the future.

I used Jane at Andover Buffets for a business lunch for 18 people, it was very short notice for Jane and she had a large order the evening before, this was not a problem as she provided a lovely lunch very good quality homemade food which we all enjoyed very much, I will defiantly use Jane for any future lunches we need catering for and would highly recommend her.

We used Jane at Andover Buffets for a staff event and she provided us with a great supper and a hassle free service.

Andover Buffets is quite simply the best catering service I have ever come across. We order lunches for our board meetings and the quality of the food is superior to any other wedding, conference or private caterer I have experienced.

Every single item is delicious, from the sandwiches & wraps, to the homemade tartlets and wrapped asparagus, with such attention to detail to every item. Cutlery and crockery is provided – every angle is covered which makes my job very easy.

Andover Buffets have just completed 3 quite large luncheon parties for us at our home, and we cannot praise Jane Berntsen enough. She is a wonderful time keeper, very relaxed, very efficient and the food was divine and quantities were spot on.

We particularly liked Jane’s attention to detail, she is incredibly organised, and if a change to the menu was required, it was made with enthusiasm and good heart. Can’t think of anyone we would rather have in our home to cater for our friends and loved ones.

My husband and I spoke will Jane regarding a double 60th birthday celebration and asked her for ideas and a menu for 50 guests. Jane suggesting a menu for us to consider which had a choice of five main dishes, a total of five salads, with the addition of breads and sauces and a choice of finger desserts.

Jane then visited our home to discuss any changes we may have wanted and to finalise the catering, she went out of her way to help and offered to supply plates, cutlery, and without any prompting brought serviettes and a table paper roll.

Jane delivered the food on time, freshly cooked and set it on tables about forty five minutes prior to our guests eating, everything went very smoothly. The food was excellent, the Coronation chicken was particularly delicious and many of our guests took the time to tell us that they were impressed and had enjoyed the buffet immensely.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Andover Buffets and Jane to anyone who may be thinking of holding a celebration and requiring a caterer.

It was lovely – all appreciated and food disappeared (if not in tummies on the day, in doggy bags), so I think that says it all! Mum and dad were very appreciative, and the whole family impressed, including Caroline with her large plate/choice of food.

She is friendly, kind and punctual. She responds to emails promptly. Nothing is too much trouble and she makes sure that what she does for you is exactly how you want it. She took all the stress of planning, shopping, preparing, cooking and storing away. On the day, the food was beautifully presented and looked delicious.

We had many compliments from our guests saying how wonderful it all was. I would especially recommend the special sausage rolls, smoked salmon in choux pastry and the profiteroles. Jane is happy to adapt any recipe for you and even went to the trouble of coming to my home with samples. The quantities of food were generous and we felt that we had very good value for money.

Jane says she is passionate about what she does and it certainly shows. I cannot recommend Jane highly enough.

Jane catered for our Christening party of fifty, supplying a variety of delicious sausage rolls, including my favoured black pudding ones, and a variety of high quality sandwiches, including coronation chicken and buffalo, along with ham and egg etc.

All our guests enjoyed it, as did the children, who had their own small children’s buffet. Jane provided all this along with a selection of puddings, disposable plates and all presented on disposable buffet trays, so very easy to clear up. She also delivered and set out the food for us so that we could get on with our own preparations.

All in all we had a lovely buffet and hassle free day thanks to excellent catering and service.

I used Andover Buffets to cater for my wife’s 50th birthday on 16 June 2012 at our house in Andover Down. There were 46 guests. My overall experience of Andover Buffets is excellent in every way.

The food was all homemade using best quality ingredients and was better than some buffets in 5 star hotels. The food represented good value. Many people positively commented on the food quality.

The helpful, pleasant manner of Jane and the waiting staff she arranged was excellent and they helped serve drinks as well as the food. This made sure that on the night I fully enjoyed the evening too.

The organisational ability of Jane is first class and helped me with crockery hire, tables and chairs hire, DJ and mobile disco and a wine supplier. Areas where she did not derive an income but still helped fully. This also impressed me.

Jane did the catering for my 80th birthday party. I had 120 people attending, many of whom were life-long golfing buddies.

I wanted to make a real impression with the food and Jane did not disappoint with everyone absolutely blown away by the range and quality of the food from the Honey Glazed Ham and Whole Poached Salmon, through the wonderful array of pasta and rice salads, the famous sausage rolls and ending with so many home made sweets including Profiteroles, Trifles, Raspberry and Champagne Jelly to name just a few.

All evening people kept asking me who had done the food and they were disappointed that Jane did not at that time do it professionally.
