About Andover Buffets

Andover Buffets is a bespoke buffet service run by me, Jane Berntsen, direct from my home in Andover, Hampshire.

Working from home, I am able to keep overheads to a minimum and so can deliver on my simple philosophy

All the pictures on the site are of actual food that I have created. They are not stock photographs. Although I am not a professional photographer, hopefully they will give you a flavour of things that can be achieved to fit to your specific requirements perfectly.

As an experienced and passionate home cook with lots of family and friends who shall we say don’t enjoy cooking, but love mine, I have on many occasions entertained on mass or been asked to provide them with my creative catering services.

Sadly, on so many occasions over the years, I have also been to parties, weddings and celebrations of past lives where the buffet food has been;

beautiful, but extortionate
worse still, mostly shop bought, poorly presented and still cost a fortune to boot
or, due to the above, people have tried to do their own thing and have ended up completely stressed out by the whole mass catering process (so not enjoyed the event as much as they should have) and found themselves unhappy with the end result, and it has still cost them a fortune!

A little bit about me

In 2011, after many years as a Marketing Director in the financial services industry, I decided to take the opportunity to completely change careers and to pursue one of my greatest passions in life – cooking.
